Lisa Harman

Born and bred in Hastings, NZ. Lisa's career has included fashion retail, window dressing, being a nanny in Milano, Italy, waitressing, a disastrous 6 months at Teachers College(!), a full time painter, art gallery retailer, motherhood.

After galleries closing concurrently in Martinborough and Wellington Lisa decided to open her own gallery at home. Lisa began to make decorative pieces to fill in down time. After being discovered by visiting retailers she began to wholesale from Auckland to Queenstown and hasn't looked back!

'Harman and Harman' provides a stimulating environment for Lisa's creativity from shop dressing, designing and making,meeting new people and showing off the beautiful gardens.

Favourite Things: shoes to wear and shoes to look at if not practical, NZ designed and made clothing such as 'Selector' and 'Duncan & Prudence', found bird nests and little blue eggs, detail, a mug of strong tea and a stodgy biscuit to dunk, L'Occitane products like 'Milk' moisturiser and 'The Bergamote' perfume, travel abroad, chocolate of any description!
